Studio cosy à saint-Pierre la mer

😊: This small studio apartment was clean and modern and had everything I needed. I was a bit surprised it didn't have a sofa bed, but for a single person the sofa was okay. I was easily able to walk to the beach, village and market (held every day at the waterfront). Parking on-site was a bonus. It was unfortunate that the owner did not give me the street address, only the name of the residence which the GPS on my new rental car did not have listed. Not having a phone or internet (as I had previously advised the owner, also what time I was leaving my prior accommodation), I had to call into a tourist information office on the way to get this. They couldn't find it either and it was only when they actually rang the tourist office in Fleury (St Pierre la Mer) that the street address was found. Apart from the stress caused by the lack of detail given, it was most annoying that when I logged onto the internet when I arrived, the email from the owner giving me the street address had come too late. Why wouldn't you give out the full address in the first instance??? The smoke alarm (required by law in France) did not have a battery that worked. When I put the battery in, it beeped every 20 seconds indicating that it was flat..
