Studio Cozy au Coeur du Quartier Latin - L'expérience parisienne parfaite

The flat is in a great location! Great walking distance from many activities and sights. Plenty of dining options close by! However, it is not a quiet place. We enjoyed the ambiance of lively French conversations from local cafes, but some might find it noisy. Also, this is likely due to renovations on the flat, but during our stay it smelled strongly of paint. We also messaged the host because there were no blinds, shades, or any type of covering on the kitchen and bathroom windows. Apparently it was not a “priority” and we were asked to “try to use the restroom at less busy times.”

Great apartment location, but lack of transparency in the listing. Keys need to be picked up at a different location, and although it’s not super far away good luck if you’re dragging along your luggage. The keys are also difficult to get used to and the lock is very finicky. I had to contact support and got rerouted twice with a very slow response time, so I basically stood outside of the apartment for an hour trying to figure it out.

If you're dreaming of an Emily in Paris experience, this is the place! From the moment I arrived, check-in and check-out were seamless and incredibly convenient. The studio overlooks a charming courtyard with a lively fountain that’s always buzzing with Parisian energy and excitement.Yes, there can be some street noise or live music, but the windows do a great job of blocking it out when you're ready to sleep. Or, if you're in the mood to soak up the ambiance, you can sit at the table, open the windows, and enjoy the music with a glass of wine and a warm baguette from the shop next door—pure Parisian bliss!The surrounding streets are wonderfully walkable and full of everything you need: cozy restaurants, a small grocery store, and you're just blocks away from filming locations of Emily in Paris. I used both the bus and the metro, each just a quick 5–10 minute walk depending on the line—super convenient.The kitchen is well-equipped, though with so many incredible food options nearby, you might not feel the need to cook. The bathroom was stocked with essentials, and the bed was perfectly comfy after long days of exploring.A reviewer mentioned a homeless person in the courtyard. I did see someone sleeping there, but I never felt unsafe at any point during my stay.There are so many positives to this place! The host communicated clearly and promptly, making everything easy. Thank you for helping me fall in love with the Latin Quarter—I’ll definitely be back!

Fabulous Latin Quarter location! Next to a pedestrian street. Tons of bars & restaurants. Close to transit. The unit itself was basic yet functional. Great check-in & appliance instructions from property manager.

We arrived later than we expected, due to Eurostar arriving late and we were charged the late arrival fee, which we were told about it before getting to the apartment. The location of the property is great, as it is very close to the city centre, it is over a busy square, which is very noisy at times, albeit that the windows do a good job of keeping the noise out, most of the time. The square itself is not kept clean and there seems to be two homeless people slumped in the square all the time. I accept the owner has no control on this. The apartment itself though, whilst well equipped, suffers with mould and in spite of keeping the windows open, when showering and at other times, you could still smell that dampness smell, all the time, evidence of it could be seen everywhere, including the curtains. Our stay was also inconvenienced by the fact that there was a secondary lock to the apartment, to which we did not have the keys to and we got locked out. We had to wait for a couple of hours outside in one of the bars below, although it started raining and got colder as time went by. Whilst the issue was resolved eventually, by the removal of the secondary lock, we felt that this should have been dealt more promptly and considering that we were charged a late arrival fee, nothing was offered to us for inconvenience caused. When back home, I had to request for the return of the deposit, which after 12 working days I am still waiting for. I would suggest a compensation to us!!

The location of this property was ideal for this trip. It is just deep enough into the Latin Quarter that you are more surrounded by locals than by tourists, but is still easy to access the Metro and walk to more popular areas. The square below is filled with restaurants and cafés to try. The place itself is small but charming. It was slightly more humble than the photos indicated, as those seemed to have been staged with decor. But overall, it met all of our needs. One note is that the bathroom amenities listed in the description (hand soap, shampoo, etc.) were not provided so be aware to bring your own.Overall, we are looking forward to returning to Paris and would be more than happy to stay here again!!
