😊: The hotel is nearby to the city centre and walkable distance to the cathedral.. 😢: This was my first trip to Europe, and unfortunately, this stay was a very disappointing experience. The building was dirty and poorly maintained. It looked abandoned, with cobwebs throughout the property, and there was an unpleasant smell as soon as we arrived. The room had no proper ventilation because two windows were permanently sealed shut, making it impossible to get fresh air. The blankets and mattress also had a bad odor. The biggest concern was safety. During our stay, someone repeatedly knocked on our door around 2:00 AM. My wife and I were genuinely frightened and did not feel safe enough to open the door. I also noticed that reviews from 2025 mention the owner saying they were working on gates and improving security. A year later, nothing appears to have changed, which is very concerning. Another disappointment was that the listing advertised a television as part of the facilities. However, after checking in, we received a message from the owner stating that the accommodation does not have a television available for guests. For the price charged, I expected at least a clean, safe, and honestly advertised accommodation. Guest safety should always be a higher priority than offering extra facilities. I cannot recommend this place unless significant improvements are made to cleanliness, security, and transparency..
