studio gresse en vercors

😊: "Les Dolomites" is an apartment block on a hillside on the edge of the village of Gresse en Vercors, a ski resort in winter and a hiking venue in summer, but the flats seemed rather empty and forlorn on a cold wet evening in Spring! Our apartment was a little 'tired' (as estate agents say) and a bit chilly (having been unoccupied for a bit) but it was a good size with bedroom, bathroom, main room (with kitchenette, table and further beds). We had been informed to bring our own sheets. Parking was just a few yards away. Having moved in we went down to the hotel 'Le Chalet' and found a bar that was cheerful and welcoming, as were the staff!. The next day dawned sunny and we realised we had a great view from our balcony - over the pool, the village beyond, and green spaces and a backdrop of mountains. We also spent a while looking around Gresse, reading about its history and walks in the area, rounding off our stay with coffee in the sunny garden of 'Le Serpaton'..
