😊: The bed was comfortable. The property has a bathroom. There are windows. There is a small area to sit outside.. 😢: The outskirts of Rocbaron appear to be built to show Europeans what failed car-dependent urban planning in North America looks like, in particular in the worst places in Florida. The educational aspect works as a negative example of how not to plan an urban area. I arrived by foot from the south from Col de La Bigue / GR 9, which means walking along the road D43. This road has heavy traffic, is unlit, and has no sidewalks. I had to walk along the D43 in the dark, which was very scary due to heavy car traffic and lack of space for pedestrians. The villas west of the D43 are full of unlit cul-de-sacs (they call them "impasse"), making the area very pedestrian-unfriendly. There is no other way into those roads apart from walking along the D43. It's better from the north, where there is a frontage road from the roundabout and bikepaths into the town centre from there, but it's still a pedestrian-unfriendly sprawl. Make sure to bring a headlight at night, but if on foot better find a different accommodation altogether. The property itself is a converted garage, but the conversion is done well — there are windows (unlike some converted garages on booking.com I have seen in the region). There is no dining table in the property, so eating dinner means either standing or sitting on the sofa. I had a miscommunication with the host about expectations on end-of-stay cleaning. I had not cleaned at the end of my stay, as I thought this cleaning was included in the booking, but the host was not satisfied that the place became visibly dirty during my use. When staying here, make sure to clearly communicate end-of-stay expectations..

😊: Quiet, nice dog location perfect for us as we had family over the road. Could do with couple extra pillows for the bed.
