😊: Saumur is a beautiful town!. 😢: 1. The initial description on Booking.com states there is a dressing room, this is a misleading statement and refers to the space below the bed which is not high enough to stand up in. 2. In the description there is no mention that the bed was a " loft bed ", and the photograph was not clear. In my view the ladder secured to the wall was too vertical, therefore dangerous, and not suitable for everyone, older people, this should be made clear in the description. 3. The kitchen appliances were all connected to one plug socket, which would be deemed as a health and safety hazard and was just by the drainer to the sink! 4.The Rattan Garden Furniture table and four chairs took up all the remaining space, which was quite claustrophobic and to add to this the windows were sealed, so the only ventilation was by leaving the front door open, which was a risk as there were people renting above the studio and decorators who were there early the next morning. 5. We stayed one night of four nights booked and left and stayed elsewhere. For us this was a very expensive experience as the host was not prepared to refund us, although it was not expected. Think carefully if this studio suits you!.
