😊: Not a lot. It wasn’t bad but was cheap so you get what you pay for.. 😢: Location and had to descale the calcium off the water container of the coffee machine as an example..

😊: Location - an easy walk to the historic centre of Rouen. Basic one room apartment with ensuite bathroom - just right for a lone traveller on a short break. Quiet block of flats in terms of neighbours. Clean with enough equipment for cooking, and close to grocery shops.. 😢: There was a heatwave (30°C plus), and as there was no air conditioning, the apartment became very hot with the afternoon sun coming in the large windows, despite the blackout curtain and opening the windows. I realise this was exceptional weather, and a cool shower did the trick..

😊: The only positive is that the host reacted quickly after we spotted that the room was double booked. We arrived in Rouen and were trapped. Our room was already paid by us. Either that's an issue of booking.com or by the host, doesnt matter, we booked through booking.com and the host/booking com approved it. We got our money back fast, but what good is that?. 😢: Our accomodation was double booked! We were trapped in a city without alternative accomodation, we were not warned in advance about a double booking, instead we had to just go home as the price of booking another hotel on that night was x4 - x10 the price, which we couldnt afford for a short weekend away. We paid for the accomodation over a week in advance, and no one saw that our room was already taken?! We had an incredible weekend planned, and it was ruined by this entire ordeal. I hope, going forward the communication between the host and booking.com is improved..

😊: The location is great, the kitchen is well equipped.. 😢: No fan or air conditioning and the apartment is located on the sunny side. There was no closet or a wardrobe, basically there was no normal storage to put your clothes..

😊: Very good location near the city centre, with quite a good view onto the Seine. The kitchen is small but allows some self catering. Everything was very clean and tidy. The key collection was straightforward. I travelled by bike and could leave it locked securely within the apartment complex courtyard.. 😢: The sofa bed was fine for one night, but wasn't particularly comfortable, so if you are planning for several nights bear this in mind. The apartment is quite small, so if travelling as a pair also consider this. Lastly the apartment is next to a main road along the river, which is convenient but also a little noisy at night..
