Stylish Family Friendly Gite, Village Location, with Shared Pool & Games Barn

We had a nice holiday in L'Etable in the quiet little village Bribaudon. It's a spacious and well-equiped gite, perfect for 4. Our children enjoyed the toys and drawing material in the gite, they could play in the games barn and off course, they had great fun in the pool! It's ideal for a family holiday.

Spent a long weekend with a bunch of friends and enjoyed our stay immensely. The whole complex fit 13-15 of us perfectly but we met up for mealtimes in the main farmhouse. It's a home away from home and is equipped for indoor and outdoor dining! It's in a tiny hamlet an hour away from Bordeaux. It's rural setting was the perfect place to get away from it all as we live in a big city. The hosts have a games barn with bicycles to cycle to the nearest boulangerie/cafe/restaurants and of course to explore the countryside. Discovered a great little farmers market in the nearest village called St Genis where the older generation still pay by cheque! If you don't want to cook there is also a great local restaurant nearby which caters for any dietary needs if you book in advance. I am definitely returning to La Fermette! Thanks for having us!

We recently stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful L'Etable, which was incredibly well-equipped and spacious. Its in a quiet and picturesque hamlet, but only 10 minutes from the nearest town and lovely local restaurants, we definitely did not run out of things to do. Saint-Emilion and Bordeaux are also only an hours drive away and were definitely worth the short journey, especially if you are a wine lover!! We will definitely be highly recommending L'Etable and can't wait to return! Thank you so much to Lesley and Felix for being so helpful!

I would highly recommend staying at L'Etable. The location is perfect as not only does it provide an authentic experience of rural France, it is also within a short drive of the coast, Bordeaux and historical towns. It is the perfect location to relax, with its beautiful surrounding countryside and/or to use as a base to explore this region of France. The local village is within walking distance and the local supermarket is within a 5 minute drive. The gite is very comfortable and has all the mod cons you'd need whilst also retaining its authentic feel. Check in and out was also very easy and flexible. I would love to come back here again!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at L'Etable. The gite is in a great location with plenty of outside space to enjoy the weather. Local supermarkets and restaurants are nearby. The gite was very clean and comfortable, with 2 double sized bedrooms and a large open plan kitchen and living area. I look forward to returning to L'Etable.

We visited this property as a group of friends and it was ideal for a weekend getaway. We stayed in different gites but enjoyed dinner outside in the communal barn area. Our gite was nicely decorated with decent facilities. We loved our French countryside visit.
