😢: Our stay at Villa Nusa was extremely disappointing. The pool became green and contaminated early in our stay. We reported the issue immediately, clearly there was no water circulation, yet the property blamed us instead of acknowledging the fault. A technician was only sent days later and confirmed the filtration system had been tripped the entire time. Two of us developed diarrhoea, and all three lost two days indoors. Even after the visit, the pool remained unsafe with green lime, sludge and dirt. Despite five days of lost pool use and documented health impact, the property refused any refund. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the day before our checkout, the property suddenly insisted on sending a technician to prepare the pool — not for us, but for the next guests, completely ignoring our refund request and the fact that we had been unable to use the pool for nearly our entire stay. We have now escalated the matter to legal and insurance channels. We regularly rent villas with pools, we have never experienced anything like this. Many items did not match the advertised photos: lower quality sunbeds, poor coffee machine, second hand dirty washing machine, basic barbecue, and a bathroom with no drain or shower screen causing water to spread into the corridor. The air conditioning struggled to maintain 25–26°C and took hours to cool down. This stay was far below expectations, and future guests should be aware of these issues.
