Sunflower 4 - Quiet relaxing cottage in a courtyard, perfect for families

Equipment and emplacment very well...thank you ...val and Glen are very good hosts

We absolutely loved staying here. The house and kitchen were fully equipped, we had everything we needed, or wanted. We arrived to a lovely welcome pack (even one for the dog!) and roaring log fire. The setting is beautiful and really quiet, but the local village, shop, boulangerie, and pub/restaurant are close by. There are fabulous walks right on the doorstep and Glenn and Val couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We will definately be coming back, it was such a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Glenn et Val nous ont proposé un séjour formidable. Aux petits soins avec nous, tourta été agrébale. Ils sont très genéreux et nous ont offert tout au long du séjour des attentions culinaires et gustatives. Me.lieu est propice aux balades et à la contemplation de la campagne. Glenn et Val sont des hôtes charmants et très attentionnés. Le gîte est parfaitement bien équipé et on se sent presque comme chez nous! Merci pour votre accueil!

We arrived to a warm welcome from Glenn, Val and Pluto! Pluto, a 10-month-old field spaniel, won us over from the start and was a frequent visitor to our gite and as dog lovers we were very happy for her to do that! However, there were others who weren't as keen and she was kept away whenever they were at their gite. We were shown into our gite, Sunflower, and were surprised by how spacious it was. Downstairs comprised a newly refurbished kitchen, lounge area with comfy leather sofas and a large dining area. Upstairs the 3 bedrooms were all of a decent size and the bathroom with shower ideal for our needs. The building is very old and the upstairs floorboards were quite creaky but that was to be expected. There are several other gites nearby (each has its own private outdoor patio) as well as a manor house. They were all full when we were there and we met some lovely people. Glenn and Val were excellent hosts. They were close by if you wanted them for anything and as we are looking for a second home in France, we found their knowledge and experience very helpful. We visited Rocamadour and several other lovely villages nearby. Highly recommend 'La Recreation' for an evening meal. Absolutely gorgeous food! Thank you Glenn and Val for a memorable stay!

We booked for our family of 4 and were very impressed with the gite (proper comfy sofas and a welcome pack of fresh bread, milk and other thoughtful items in arrival!) Lots of things provided which helped make the stay a delight. Hugh quality furnishings throughout. A warm welcome from Val and Glenn added to the charm and ease of our stay. Beautiful spacious surroundings as well. Book quickly before they sell out!

La propriété de Glenn et Val est très bien bien entretenue. Il ne manque absolument rien. Glenn et Val sont passionnés par le Lot, sont pleins d'excellentes recommandations et aux petits soins. BRAVO et BELLE continuation à vous deux.
