Superb Norman cottage with swimming pool and park of 10 ha near Pont l'Evêque

Beautiful property! Our children loved the dogs and horses. The had a wonderful fireplace that we enjoyed every night. We did not use or need the WiFi. It was everything we hoped out of a farm in Normandy. My only complaint is that I had planned to do laundry at this stop and the machine is really only is a washer. The dryer component was not effective so we dried clothes by the fire instead!Pont L’Eveque has great restaurants and bakeries. Honfleur is nearby which was a lovely early dinner. We traveled to see WW2 sights which is an hour drive. We returned our rental car in Rouen and took the train into Paris to avoid a car return in Paris. We would definitely come back! Our children did not want to leave!

We had a wonderful stay; the house and grounds are incredibly beautiful. The pool is wonderful and we swam every day. Laurent is an amazing host, very friendly and warm. It was lovely to have the dogs coming to visit us! There are numerous beautiful towns within 30 minutes for day trips to the beach, etc. we had a lovely stay, and would gladly stay again! Très bon séjour, bel endroit, idéal pour les enfants, facile pour les courses. Petit bémol : absence de wifi et connexion limitée, ce qui peut poser problème à ceux qui veulent teletravailler mais ça devrait s'arranger.

The property and setting are spectacular. Laurence is a great host, helpful and attentive. The facilities are great and well maintained, with the grounds particularly impressive. We had an amazing peaceful time. One thing to note, there was 'Internet access' as a facility, which we took to mean via the house, however there is no mainline internet/wi-fi. There is weak mobile data network reception though. It may be our understanding of the categories from VRBO that we expected internet access and it did take some managing with two teens. We probably would not have booked the house if we had have known in advance, but we are VERY glad that we did, it is truly stunning. Just be aware that this is the position.

Eine sehr ruhige Lage in einem wunderschönen Park. Es gibt mehrere Häuser, aber man stört sich in dem großzügigen Rahmen nicht gegenseitig. Ein großer, 20 Mehr langer Pool ist auch sportlich interessant. Kaum Belästigung durch Insekten. Das Haus strahlt große Harmonie aus, die Räume sind weit und die sanitären Facilities exzellent. Ein großartiger Ort, um sich gründlich zu erholen.
