Superb seaside family house in Pleneuf Val Andre.

Our family of 8 adults, and 2 babies had a wonderful holiday, staying in this well-appointed, practical and beautiful house. We loved the outdoor area, the covered outside dining room, and the spacious kitchen and living room. It was so good to have 3 showers and 5 loos too, with such a number of us in the house.

Nous avons passé un week-end entre amis et nous avons été très bien accueilli par Dave, la maison était très propre et très bien équipé. Franchement rien a dire a part merci à Isabelle et Dave de nous avoir fait profiter de leur maison, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Encore merci et sûrement à une prochaine fois.

Belle maison bien équipée,les chambres sont spacieuses et la literie est de qualité. Vous êtes situés à 5 mn du port et de la plage,je recommande.

The town has lots to offer for people of different ages and interests. We all enjoyed the huge beach and swimming in the sea, but also the walking paths and promenade. We made use of the local markets, which provided some great quality food, and had some good meals in the local restaurants. The town is a great combination of the harbour in Dahouet and the holiday resort in Pleneuf. This meant there was always something to do or look at. The tiny kids really enjoyed the"mini-port" and the bakery. We were lucky enough to have good weather and all agreed we'd love to return.

I have recently returned from staying in this property over the New Year period. We chose it because of its flexible accommodation: we were two families, one with two teenagers and the other with two grown up children. The bedroom arrangements worked well for us as did the bathrooms all of which are beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well equipped which was good as we ate in a couple of times and the large table seated 8 of us so no problems there. The living area was cosy and although it wasn't the right time of year to be outside, the patio/bbq area looked like it would be perfect for summer evenings. The house is conveniently located a short walk from Dahouet Port/Pleneuf val Andre with its shops and restaurants. This was important to us as we didn't want to have to drive all the time. We did have a slight issue with the heating early in our stay but Dave the owner, was very quick to resolve this for us and offered to return if there were any other issues, which there weren't. I would recommend this property to families/groups looking for a larger property in this location. Dave and Isobelle looked after us well and we would happily return. We loved the house. It was near enough to the beach for the family to walk there comfortably;restaurants also easily strollable. Boulangerie was brilliant and handy, as was the harbour. We enjoyed the barbecue area too. A book outlining local villages and places to visit would have been appreciated. Also we only found the games on the second last day! Dave and Isabelle were very helpful as regards the booking arrangements. We would hope to come back. Thank you.

We had a wonderful week in Pleneuf - if only it could have been longer. The lovely house is perfect for a large group with lots of space including a neat outside area for barbecues etc and a real suntrap. It was spotless when we arrived and appears very fresh and well cared for inside and out. The amazing sandy beach (perfect for children of all ages) is a 5-7 minute walk with the town alongside. We were very fortunate to have hot sunny weather so we didn't venture outside the area but just enjoyed walking, running, swimming in the sea. We took our own bicycles which were useful to get the morning croissants - you can hire from nearby. There is a good choice of restaurants in the town for all budgets - we liked Le Plein des Sens - but we mainly ate at home. We stocked up in the main supermarket a short drive away but otherwise picked up food daily at the local supermarket. Our older children had a fun night out at Space nightclub which is within walking distance. We stayed during the Olympics so were able to enjoy all the highlights on the English TV channel. We would very much recommend this house and this seaside town to others - and plan to go back in the future.
