😊: The apartment itself is ok, if you don't mind that the bedroom is underground without window.. 😢: What do I start with... I had to threaten to drag them to court to get back my deposit. I notified the host of several problems in the apartment: a light bulb that didn't work, a clogged sink, and that they gave me the wrong wifi password. I had to insist to even get an answer, but they didn't act until I threatened to report them to booking.com. They never fixed the clogged sink. When I used the washing machine, it badly stained the first batch of clothes. It worked normally after that. There's very limited kitchenware, and all the pans except one are badly scratched teflon pans. Then the booking and contract... First, after booking on booking.com, I had to go to the website of the host, and supply all sorts of information, including a copy of id, proof of address and what not. It felt like opening a bank account. Then I had to pay a surprise deposit of 2500 EUR! Then they sent me a contract that says I must subscribe to a home insurance. Note they sent it only after I already paid the first month rent. Then when I asked confirmation that they're happy with the documents I sent that they demanded, they didn't answer, and after I insisted, they finally answered that they received them, but I had to insist again for them to finally confirm that those docs were ok. The contract mentions that I have to enable them to organize flat viewings for the next tenant, and that I must make it accessible in case they want to modernize it. Finally, they declined to give me a signed version of the contract. I signed, but they didn't sign and give me a signed copy..
