😊: Our experience with this property was disappointing, and we cannot recommend it to future guests. After check-out, the host contacted us directly requesting €120 for cleaning, without using Booking.com’s official damage procedure. Our coach confirms that the apartment was left in better condition than it was found. During our stay, the refrigerator was extremely dirty and smelled strongly of fish, and the kitchenware was dirty and unusable until our coach cleaned it. The bottles shown in the host’s photographs were not left by our athletes. Furthermore, the photographs provided by the host (in att.) do not correspond to the condition of the apartment during our stay. The host confirmed that they have no photographs showing the apartment’s condition before our arrival and therefore cannot establish that the alleged issues occurred during our stay. Despite this, older photographs that were not taken during our stay were provided, which raises serious concerns about the accuracy and reliability of the claim. Most concerningly, the entrance door could not be locked at any time during our stay, creating a significant safety and security issue. Based on the condition of the apartment, the handling of the cleaning claim, and the serious security concern, we would not recommend this property to future guests.. 😢: The apartment could not be properly secured or locked during our entire stay. This is not a minor inconvenience but a fundamental safety and security issue. We were paying for accommodation that should have provided a secure, lockable living space, yet the apartment was handed over without the ability to properly lock the entrance door. In addition, the condition of the kitchenware was unacceptable, as our guests had to wash the dishes and utensils themselves before they could use them. The refrigerator was also in an unacceptable condition and had a strong smell of fish, which our coach personally had to clean. Finally we.
