Superbe appartement de 94m2 avec vue sur le Fort St Elme

😊: Great, spacious apartment with a wonderful balcony and good facilities. Location good too. A very warm welcome.. 😢: A bit difficult to find - both the complex and the apartment..

😊: Great location and lovely open plan kitchen & living room. Good kitchen equipment. Collioure is a great place to stay, with lots to do and see.. 😢: There is no ventilation or extractor fan in the shower room so the door needs to be left open, so it's always damp and smells linger. We paid for towels and sheets and these were poor quality. The double bed in the large bedroom was like a temporary bed. One dining room chair (and one of the handles to the main terrace) was broken and one of the others had a sizeable crack at the back. This later broke and despite having alerted the agent to this and later the owner, we were held responsible. We had to use garden chairs at the table. There is a constant drip in the interior terrace which is audible in the main bedroom throughout the night..

😊: Just a great appartement - exactly what we wanted. 😢: The Stairs - I have a hip issue just now and should have realised that the stairs would be a problem for me.

😊: The apartment itself is very nice with good views.. 😢: The access is very bad. A lot of steps which would be challenging for a fit person. My husband is handicapped and it was impossible..

😊: We liked the spacious and well equiped unit. The view and terrace were wonderful.. 😢: The directions for finding the unit were terrible and it took almost 2 hours to find it. The name is not "superbe apartment", but is Les Rocades which was not mentioned. The street number given was 27 but there was no numbers on this or adjoining properties for reference. Also, the property manager did not answer several phone calls before connecting. If not for some very helpful neighbour's, we probably would never have found this unit. Very frustrating! Lastly, nothing was mentioned about the 62 steep steps up to the unit, or the 40 steep steps down to it fron above. Totally unavailable for the elderly or anyone with a mobility disability..
