Superbe gîte avec piscine privative chauffée chambres climatisé

This is a superb Gite which provided all the essentials to relax and enjoy our visit; including an extensive arrivals package. Both the Gite and garden are beautiful. The pool was large with extensive seating. The house was very comfortable and included air-conditioning in the bedrooms. Located just south of Bergerac town and the Dordogne it is ideally located to explore Saint-Emilion, Eymet, Issigeac, Monpazier, Molieres and beyond. Serge and Beatrice were excellent hosts and went out of their way to be helpful: Many thanks for a great week

Outside space was charming and well kept. We enjoyed the pool in the very hot weather. Plenty of places to sit. Very private.Some suggestions for improvement. Lack of hanging space in bedrooms. Hooks on backs of bedroom doors would be good. Mirrors in bedrooms should be a must so that you can dry your hair in the air conditioned bedrooms rather than the small hot bathrooms, one of which had no window.Beds comfortable but sheets and duvet covers a bit old and probably need an update.Definitely need a car as nothing local to walk to.Good lunch at Le Clocher in Pomport.Hosts were charming and helpful.

Serge, Beatrice are wonderful people, paying attention to every detail. Garden is spectacular, with a tranquil pool. What made it even better were the recommendations, from local festivals, to restaurants, markets and days out to see real France. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back!

This is a fabulous property so close to Bergerac. Serge & Beatrice are extremely welcoming hosts, who have put a huge amount of work into the pool and garden as well as providing outdoor games and bicycles. We spent most of our time at La Salagre out by the pool. Heated to approx 24 *, with beautiful planting, lots of sunbeds, both it and the immaculate garden are outstanding. Proximity to Bergerac is also a huge plus, with lots of lovely restaurants, bars and boutiques. We highly recommend a stay in La Salagre and will definitely be back!

Stayed here May 2023 with a few friends and Serge and Beatrice's gîte was absolutely perfect! The facilities are excellent, hosts exceptionally friendly and the pool, gardens and surrounding area delightful. We loved Serge's collection of robots! Would definitely recommend to others and absolutely stay here again!

The hosts were very nice and welcoming. House and the garden was fantastic. Inside is equipped with everything we needed and outside was sufficient amount of toys to entertain the kids. Strongly recommended it
