Superbe villa pour 4 personnes, terrasse isolée, piscine privée, vue magnifique.

Very nice, spacious, complete house on a hill with a private pool. Felt like home but with better weather and a pool. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings. During our stay there was a water shortage limiting the water supply to only a few hours a day but still it didn't ruine our holiday. And the owner was open and honest about it, providing us with the option to cancel with a full refund. Very glad we didn't cancel! The only thing we would have appreciated, was airconditioning on the 2nd floor as it was really hot outside (> 40°C) and very difficult to sleep at night.

The villa was very clean, very well equipped and perfect for our stay.....the pool was a great size for our group of four. The only negative was that we experienced very low water pressure during our stay which impacted the bathrooms and made showering sometimes a little challenging. The Commune of Durban is a lovely village and had a useful local Supermarket with Bakery and a really nice Bar / Restaurant ( Chez Prano). We had to travel a little distance in the evening to visit other restaurants and bars as there aren't many options for food in Durban if we didn't want to cook. Overall a very nice Villa in a beautiful and peaceful setting!

Loved this place . Pool was needed as it was very hot during our stay. Perfect location for exploring the area. Lots of walks and a short drive to the beach . Brilliant to also have a bar/restaurant within walking distance too .

Location au calme avec une vue magnifique. Idéalement située pour la visite des châteaux Cathares, au milieu des vignes. Maison fonctionnelle, décorée avec goût, la piscine privée est un plus. Le village de Durban-Corbières offre l'essentiel des commerces et un très bon restaurant. Un séjour très agréable dans une région magnifique.

Très belle Villa, propre, spacieuse et très bien équipée. Idéalement située pour visiter la région. Nous avons passé 15 jours et nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances. Très bonne communication avec Andrew avant notre arrivée. La piscine privée est un vrai plus!

Von der Terrasse des Ferienhauses mit Pool bietet sich eine grandiose Aussicht auf die umliegenden Berge. Jeden Morgen begrüßte uns ein neues Farbenspiel aus Wolken und Sonne am Himmel, genauso an den Abenden. Das Haus bietet alles für einen ruhigen und entspannten Aufenthalt. Es ist sehr geräumig, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und das Wohnzimmer bietet bequeme Sitzmöglichkeiten. Wir haben allerdings die meiste Zeit auf der Terrasse verbracht. Das Dorf ist zu Fuß erreichbar, dort gibt es ein gutes Restaurant, einen Pizza-Dienst und einen kleinen Supermarkt, der fast alles für den täglichen Bedarf liefert. Es lässt sich also auf das Auto verzichten. Wer unbedingt das volle Angebot eines großen französischen Supermarktes genießen möchte, der kann das im rund 20 Kilometer entfernten Sigean. Die Strände von Leucate sind etwa 35 Kilometer von Durban-Corbières entfernt. Die Fahrt dorthin lohnt sich, genauso wie die zu den Burgen und Klöstern der Gegend. Nach einem Ausflug laden die hervorragenden Weine der Region ein. Unbedingt kosten. Die Betreuerin des Hauses ist jederzeit erreichbar, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können die Unterkunft in dieser wunderschönen Region Frankreichs weiterempfehlen.

A well maintained and spotlessly clean property in a very peaceful and beautiful location with great views towards the village & its castle. Dave & Jeanne, who look after the property on behalf of the Owners, could not have been more helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending the property to any couple or family who are looking for a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The surrounding area is stunningly beautiful and close to lots of Cathar Castles & the cities of Carcassonne, Narbonne & Bezier.

Four of us ( 2 couples) stayed here for 2 weeks . The villa was very clean, tastefully decorated and furnished and very well equipped, especially the kitchen . The outside area was spotless as was the pool. The villa is beautifully situated above Durban Corbieres and we never tired of sitting outside looking at the wonderful unspoilt views whilst sipping a glass of wine! The weather was magnificent and the pool was a welcome relief from the heat. The villa was big enough for us and having 2 bathrooms meant no queues! Dave and Jeanne , the couple looking after the villa were very helpful when we had a minor problem and also went out of their way to help when we had car trouble. The local supermarket had a superb boulangerie and also stocked most other items we required. Sigean and Narbonne had bigger supermarkets . Highlight for us was visiting the Nou Camp in Barcelona. Well worth a trip if you like your football! We had a fantastic holiday and would recommend this villa to friends and family. We will be back!
