the apt is cute and as shown in the photos. the location is very convenient. the fan was appreciated. i was not comfortable in the apt. in terms of safety. the door to the apt is an interior door and has only a lock that is opened with the code you are given. there is no way to lock the door from the inside so that someone with the code can’t open it. i have stayed in many french apt. and have never seen a door like this. additionally, the door to the building has the same lock system which must be manually turned by hand when you leave. i’m not sure everyone is aware of this and often it was left open. the communication was not particularly friendly—it seems to be run by an agency. as mentioned in another review, shower curtain needs to be changed/washed. information to access wifi in the booklet in the apt. is incorrect. make sure to get the info beforehand if you’re traveling and don’t have access to internet.
