Sweetness of Anjou in former 15th century seigniorial mansion

We had a great time during our stay, but there was a big surprise waiting when we got home.

We had a wonderful week in the house in Sermaise. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. The huge garden provided endless entertainment for our 3 children who enjoyed all of the activities provided, mostly the go kart and the hot tub. The house was beautifully kept and well positioned to explore Anjou. It was lovely having the grounds to ourselves and we could easily have stayed for another week. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful time in La Coudre! It is a lovely historic property set in its own well tended grounds all of which are for the guests sole use. It is incredibly peaceful and the garden and jacuzzi were a very relaxing place to be. The area offers many things to see and do and there is something for everyone’s taste. Arnaud the host was lovely and very generous leaving us home made juice and a bottle of cremant as well as kindly letting us eat the fruit and vegetables (which were plentiful!) from the garden.We were very sad to have to leave at the end of our stay! Thank you so much Arnaud for letting us stay in your lovely house!

Our family loved every minute of our stay in this impressive house. We were blessed with very good weather so had plenty of time to explore the magnificent castles in the area and then return home to sit in the wonderful gardens of La Coudre, having a BBQ while enjoying family conversation and laughter - such a relaxed and wonderful place to be. Our hosts were warm, welcoming and very kind. They both spoke English very well, which we were thankful for as our French is tres mauvais! We would absolutely love to return here. We have been coming to France for many years and this is by far the most beautiful home we have stayed in. Thank you so much Arnaud and Segolene!

Séjour au calme dans la magnifique propriété d'Arnaud. Maison très propre à l'arrivée, électroménager fonctionnel et complet, lits confortables, pièces spacieuses, grande salle d'eau, 1 WC à chaque étage. Le parc est entièrement clôturé, idéal pour nos 3 chiens. Une très bonne adresse pour visiter la région.

La propriété est sublime!! Toute la famille y a trouvé son compte. La propriété est suffisamment isolée pour la tranquillité tout en étant proche de magasins et de différentes activités (visites de châteaux, de villes (Angers, Saumur, Baugé), bioparc de Doué la Fontaine, 1 jour au Futuroscope,...). Le propriétaire est réactif et à l'écoute tant avant, que pendant le séjour.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet ancien relais de chasse plein de charme et de caractère qui a éré restauré avec beaucoup de goût. Cette bâtisse en pierre du pays est entourée d'un grand jardin très fleuri et clôturé. La maison est bien équipée, la literie confortable et le wifi fonctionne bien! Nombreuses possibilités de balades à vélo à travers les vignobles de la région et le long de La Loire. A découvrir!

The house has everything to make your vacation perfect. A great lordly house and fully fenced garden (6000m2!) We and our dog loved it. The caretaker Pascale speaks French and English and she is very helpful. The house is located between the towns of Angers and Saumur. There is much to see and to do in the region. We highly recommend you this great house.
