😊: Fabulous! Stephanie was an excellent and generous host eg choice of shower gel, shampoo, lots of leaflets on things to do, recommended restaurants, lots of fans. Very friendly and just lovely. The property is very convenient for exploring Saumur.. 😢: It was great for two people may feel snug for more..

😊: Beautifully modernised and bright cottage underneath the chateau. Comfy spacious lounge with compact but well thought out kitchen area. Lovely cobbled courtyard where we had our breakfast watching the local birds and viewing the chateau above us. Rooms comfy, large bathroom. The attic room which had air conditioning and our host provided several welcome fans in the heatwave. Our host was friendly, informative and helpful before and throughout our stay, and kindly found and brought my wallet to our next stay in the town.. 😢: you just have to climb the attic steps with care..

😊: Our hostess made every effort to ensure we were comfortable in the middle of a heatwave, providing additional fans and aircon unit. Cleanliness of the apartment was exceptional. Atmospheric location below Saumur castle is also very close to the centre of town.. 😢: "Comfort" score not maximum because the apartment was too hot thanks to a heatwave, and the old building does not meet current eco standards..

😊: Basic household things like tea, coffee etc Info sheet on local bakery butchers and restaurants very handy Also on what places are worth visiting.

😊: Very well located, felt very homey and also very clean with all the amenities you need. On small side for three people but had everything you needed and made good use of the space so didn’t feel small at all. Ground floor with kitchen, dining table and living room. First floor with double bed and then extra steps to a landing space with wardrobe space and drawers, with a bathroom and separate toilet. Small double bed located up a further set of steps that are only suitable for younger people (shown on photos though so knew what you were booking).. 😢: Nothing- loved it!.
