This was our third holiday as their guests. Now the first time in spring it was wonderful to see how the vineyards come to life after winter. Despite our curiosity they tirelessly answered our endless questions about wine growing.

Rob and Sreve are excellent hosts and couldn’t do enough to make sure we had a great stay. Lovely setting to walk around the vineyard & Branston is always ready to say hello. We stayed in the main cottage which is more private if thats what you want. The other gites are lovely & within the main court yard so more social. Main point, you always have wine on tap!! 😁

Steve & Rob were the perfect hosts. The cottage was lovely., A wonderful sun trapped patio to relax on an evening with a glass of clos vieux rochers wine. Breakfast is a must. We can't thank you enough for all the tourist information and places to visit. Looking forward to returning in September.

Beautiful Gites in lovely quiet location in the middle of the vineyard just 15/20 minutes to St Emillion Rob and Steve made us very welcome providing advice on local walks and always on hand if we needed more of their lovely wine at very reasonable prices. My wife doesn’t like Rose however after being persuaded by Steve to try theirs she loved it!!

Had an amazing stay, Steve and Rob were amazing hosts, we loved the location, the gîte, the wine, and the hospitality. Would not hesitate to book again, in fact we’re hoping to book the entire place next year for a family visit

Rob and Steve are perfect hosts, very friendly and informative about the area. Accommodation excellent, very clean and the cottage had a small private back yard. Location was nice amongst the countryside and vineyards. Would recommend for people to go there (already have) and also try their wine. Certainly go back if we are in the area again. Many thanks

My wife and I spent three days at Clos Vieux Rochers and we could not have been happier with our choice. The property itself is peacefully situated on a quiet road in a beautiful area, close to St Emilion and other attractions yet away from it all. Owners Steve and Rob have clearly put a lot of heart (and sweat I'm sure) into the property. The cottage we stayed in was clean and comfortable with a tasteful decor and included everything one could ask of a self-catering unit. One of the highlights of our visit to the area was the the tour of the Clos Vieux Rochers Winery itself. The owners are passionate about making wine and seem to genuinely enjoy sharing the process with others. Whether it was answering my wife's questions about the finer points of wine making or explaining to me why a Bordeaux is a Bordeaux, Steve treated all our questions as equally important. We appreciated his sincere and genuine approach. If you choose to stay at Clos Vieux Rochers, you won't be disappointed. It's a charming place. Well done gentleman. Thanks again, Scott and Betty
