The countryside by the sea

Wonderfully peaceful stay in the countryside but close to everything we needed. The cottage was very clean as well as warm and cozy. Everything was exactly as stated online. The WiFi was excellent. There were plenty of dishes and cooking utensils so we could stay in and cook if we chose. Stephanie and Gaelle were both wonderful and answered all my questions. Everywhere we wanted to explore in Normandy was within a one hour drive and some beaches and towns were very close. It was a perfect home base to explore and relax on our trip. My dog loved evening runs on Gold Beach which was only about 10-15 minutes away. Overall I would highly recommend Stephanie’s delightful cottage.

Wir verbrachten fast 2 Wochen in diesem Haus, eine schöne Mischung aus alt und neu. Es ist alles da, was man braucht um sich entspannend zu erholen. Bei Anfragen war immer jemand erreichbar. Belle location dans une charmante maison décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Accueil très sympathique de Stéphanie et Gaëlle. Environnement idéal pour passer des vacances au calme entre terre et mer!

Wir haben zwei schöne Wochen in Stéphanies Ferienhaus verbracht. Es liegt mitten in einem kleinen Dorf, eine kleine Fluss-Badestelle ist nur 250 Meter entfernt und diverse schöne Strände und nette Stägtebubd Sehenswürdigkeiten waren mit dem Auto gut von dort aus zu erreichen. Stéphanie war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich und wir können das Haus für Familien absolut weiterempfehlen.

We absolutely loved staying at Stephanie’s house. My daughter (17 yo) was so enthralled with the unique charm of the place that she wanted to stay forever. It’s in a quiet little town with very old buildings, but has every modern convenience. One thing I was not aware of, but wasn’t really bothered by, given the low price of the place, was the charge for electricity, heat, bed linens and towels. This, on top of the city tax (which I was prepared for) added another 64 euros to our 3 day-2 night stay. So not an outrageous sum, but I just wasn’t expecting it. If you stay here (and I highly recommend that you do!) just be aware of the additional cost and come prepared with cash. Stephanie was very kind and easy to work with and, given the chance, we will definitely stay here again!

Stéphanie nous a accueilli avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de simplicité. Situé dans un petit village très calme, le gîte est très bien équipé et très joliment décoré. Point de départ idéal pour découvrir les plages du débarquement.

Location très agréable, nous avons passez un super séjour avec notre toutou. Merci pour l'accueil.
