The home of Les Hirondelles

This home is a hidden gem. The setting is peaceful and beautiful with the sun rising on one side of the backyard and setting on the other. My husband, in-laws, and three children stayed here just one night, but my kids wished we were there for a week. They loved the play room in the garage with ping pong and a pool table. We all loved the amount of room we had to stretch out. Anthony was extremely responsive to my inquires and was very friendly when we arrived. An excellent host! It was a great stopping point between Mont Saint-Michel and Chartres Cathedral. I highly recommend it, especially if you are a larger group or family looking for some space to run around in the back yard or give the teens their own room.

We have visited Gorron many times but this was the first time for many years we have self catered. This property is ideally situated on the edge of town and most places are in walking distance. In fact, I would suggest walking as a way to discover the many narrow old streets around the town. If you are planning a longer stay it would also be an ideal base to travel further afield to investigate. Domfront, Fougeres Laval spring to mind and are a modest drive away. We are already hoping to come again next year for the Fete de la Musique and home to bring some other friends with us and this would be our ideal spot. Many thanks Anthony for making us welcome.

Propriétaire cool et sympa. Nous avons un passé un séjour très agréable entre amis (6). La maison est très bien pour un séjour entre amis ou en familles. Petite ville vivante et agréable avec les commerces nécessaires.

Maison bien équipée. Nous étions un groupe de huit personnes avec les 5 chambres cela convenait très bien. Merci à Anthony pour ces réponses rapides et sa ponctualité.

Une grande maison très fonctionnelle avec tout le confort nécessaire, un grand terrain arboré très agréable l'été ; nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette location.

Nous sommes venus pour fêter l’anniversaire de ma mère avec notre fils et sa famille. La maison est superbe si parfait on n’a pas voulu partir ! Anthony est sa Mère ètait charmant on va revenir souvent. We came to celebrate my Mum’s birthday with our family in France the house was absolutely perfect. Location ideal and Anthony and his Mum are charming. It was so perfect we did not want to leave ! We will return often as it is such a lovely place. Thank you Anthony for making our stay so good and the games room was a wonderful surprise thank you !

We loved this house, because it is spacious and it has nice details, like French doors, beautiful old wallpaper and a garden with fruit trees. The garden fellt like a park, it was such a big garden with a lot of privacy. We enjoyed the outside fireplace. Anthony, the owner of this beautiful villa was a nice and friendly guy. He gave us tips about things to do in the surrounding area. We had a great holiday, thanks to Anthony and his family and his beautiful home.
