The yellow cottage, made of stone and wood

En cette période de canicule, quel bonheur de se retrouver au frais dans cet écrin de verdure. Nous avons testé pour la première fois les studios, petits nids douillets et bien frais. Que du bonheur ! Sans parler du jacuzzi dehors ! Merci à Julie et Jeremy, si attentionnés ! Séjour parfait !!!

La situation, l'accueil, la gentillesse du propriétaire, la réactivité, le cadre cocooning, l'environnement sauvage... enfin tout quoi !

A 3 couples avec chacun un chien, pour plus de commodités, nous avons loué 3 gites. On se retrouvait pour les moments communs ds le gîte vert, accueillant, fonctionnel, avec une terrasse magnifique et une vue superbe. Le gîte bleu aurait lui besoin d un petit rafraichissement . Les hôtes sont adorables, il y a une belle rando juste à coté, et c est le pays du paté en croute donc...nous avons passé des superbes vacances aux esselards.

Dommage qu'il était trop court

Super nice landlords, charming, well appointed accommodations, great hiking, beautiful scenery made this a favorite location. The nearby village was lovely and the people were so helpful to English speakers.

We were traveling from Colorado with two moms and our 18 year-old daughters. We had a wonderful week in Paris and the girls wanted to see some of the French countryside and enjoy some peace and quiet, but Provence seemed too far away. We took a two hour high-speed train to Lyon and rented the car to get to this lovely yellow cottage. It was perfect for the four of us and our host, Jeremy was so great to sit and share a beer with us and tell us about the area. We loved the trail right next to the house that ran along an old Roman aqueduct. The house was clean as could be and the beds were comfortable and the whole setting was charming and quiet. We love the little town of Yzeron and there was a wonderful art shop there where we all bought some local art and jewelry. We would like to go back and stay longer and explore more of the trail system in that area. We highly recommend this home for your vacation!
