Tignes Le Lac - Bel appartement Résidence le Santon

😊: Great view of the lake.

😊: The location is excellent and the apartment itself has great potential. I had stayed here previously with family and had a very positive experience, which is why I chose to return.. 😢: Unfortunately, the cleanliness was very poor on arrival. The kitchen in particular required me to clean every item before use, even the drinking glasses had visible residue build-up and needed to be thoroughly washed before they could be used. There was also significant grime on the handles of pots and pans, suggesting they hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. The tea towel left in the kitchen was dirty and had a strong unpleasant smell, clearly not washed from previous guests. The toilet was extremely dirty and required a thorough clean before I felt comfortable to use it. I ended up spending a considerable amount of time cleaning the apartment just to make it usable, including having to go out and buy multiple cleaning products. This was very frustrating and took away from the start of my holiday. In addition, I had checked in advance whether towels were provided so I could pack accordingly and was told they would be. However, only two small bath towels were available and no hand towels were provided, which meant I had to go out and buy one. This was inconvenient and not in line with what I would normally expect. The pillows were also very small and thin, more like cushions, and not comfortable for sleeping. There were also no instructions provided for the WiFi. I also contacted the host via Booking.com regarding the cleanliness, but unfortunately did not receive a response. Strangely I noticed there was a bump under the matt at the door of the property in the landing, when we lifted this we noticed it was due to a knife being under this which was quite concerning..

😊: Beautiful view of Le Lac and great location with Le Lac and Lavachet both within easy proximity. Well appointed kitchen. Sylvie was a very responsive and helpful host.. 😢: Nothing - it was great!.
