Tourrettes (Var): villa avec jardin, piscine et tennis

Ferienhaus in einer großen Ferienanlage, inkl. Pool, Tennisplätze, Parkplätze, ruhig gelegen (bei der Anlage hört die Straße auf), Garten und Vorgarten des Ferienhauses etwas vernachlässigt (müsste mal ein Gärtner ran), Inneneinrichtung top (nagelneue Küche und neues Bad, beides hochwertig), keine Reinigung vorab, wir mussten bei der Ankunft erstmal selber putzen, toller Webergrill leider nicht nutzbar, da keine passenden Gaskartuschen vorhanden waren. Erholungsfaktor top. Wir haben uns trotz der kleinen Missstände sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das Haus steht in einer geschlossenen, bewachten und gut gepflegten Wohnsiedlung. Das Haus selbst ist zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, dennoch ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Der kleine Garten ist zum Großteil blickgeschützt, sodass man hier in Ruhe entspannen kann. Der Pool in der Siedlung ist sehr gut gepflegt und es macht Spaß dort zu Baden. Fußläufig ist ein Supermarkt, ein Bäcker und 2 Restaurants erreichbar. Der See Lac Cassien ist in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar und sehr schön zum Paddeln oder Tretbootfahren.

Nous connaissons très bien les jardins de Provence pour y avoir de la famille et y avoir séjourné à maintes reprises. La villa est très agréable spacieuse et bien équipée. Bonne surprise, malgré la chaleur extérieure et sans clim (et avec peu de ventilateur) nous avons réussi à ne pas suffoquer de chaleur même à l'étage. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Bonne surprise, malgré la chaleur extérieure et sans clim (et avec peu de ventilateur) nous avons réussi à ne pas suffoquer de chaleur même à l'étage. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

The owners of this property could not have been more accommodating and helpful prior to our stay. Their manager at the property was also extremely helpful when needed while we were there. The house itself was very well equipped for our family of 6 and in a good position on the estate. Facilities available like the pool and tennis courts were superbly maintained and easily accessible. We were surprised at the size of the estate upon arrival but any uncertainty about that was soon dispelled as the place was never really busy. Very quiet most of the time- even round the pool on the hottest day was never crowded. The only drawback to the house was the small kitchen- only really big enough for one person in at a time-it was perfectly adequate but a proper size oven would have helped preparing meals. Despite this , we would not hesitate to return. The position of the property was fantastic in being able to visit Cannes, Nice, Monaco, Menton, Grasse, Frejus all within about an hour at most. Nearby was a good choice of several supermarkets. The nearby lake of St Cassien was brilliant; pedalos,inflatables,swimming in warm water- had many a great day out there. A possible addition to the property would have been the provision of a couple of fans as it was extremely hot at night making sleeping difficult. That said, the beds were extremely comfortable! Laundry facilities were super and plenty of cleaning equipment provided. It was a shame towels and bedding were not included but we managed to bring all our own. Overall, a fantastic holiday home which we would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit this region. Two weeks just wasn't enough !
