😊: We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment in Tours. The flat was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. We really appreciated that the house was eco-friendly. It was a thoughtful touch and made the stay feel even more pleasant. The location was great for exploring Tours and the surrounding castles, and we would happily stay here again. We especially loved having a parking space right at the door, which was extremely convenient for our road trip around the Loire Valley.. 😢: The only thing we didn’t like was the outdoor space at the back. It felt a little neglected, with no plants or greenery, and the outdoor furniture looked quite worn. With a bit of care and some simple improvements, it could become a much more pleasant and inviting area..

😊: We had a pleasant stay in this property, which is well-located in a quiet area of Tours. The free street parking was convenient, though finding a spot could sometimes be tricky. The house was warm and comfortable, with only a few steps to navigate. Some of the areas have had considerable updating like the showers and the kitchen, but others still retain a rather dated feel. (which we actually liked!). The downstairs bedroom is the best, and the bed is very comfortable. The layout downstairs is really good and social, and having dishwasher and washing machine handy is great. There's a barbecue and the owner had provided briquettes. The place is very quiet. Overall I'd recommend this place as a base for Tours (very easy access to the Centre) and the Loire Chateaux.. 😢: There were some issues. The listing advertises three bedrooms, but access to the ground-floor bedroom requires walking through the small ( single /child ?) bedroom, which may not suit everyone. In addition, the property hadn't been properly checked before our arrival. The owner has rectified the problems apparently (not while we were there) but overall, it's a good location rather let down by a lack of attention . I do hope R takes my advice to be more on the ball with checks. I would also echo another's comment that an extra chair in the lounge is required, . And finally, the bed upstairs has a dip in the middle. But all in all I would go again . I would have given it a 9 if these items were addressed..
