Traditional Béarnaise house

Great location to decompress and enjoy the lovely surroundings villages. The house has everything you need and the pool is terrific.

We had a fantastic week and enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you. Hope to come back to explore some more.

For those looking for a quiet large house, this is an ideal house. The domain was very well cared for. We have already enjoyed.

Excellent experience. Wonderfully equipped house in great decorative order. We were very happy in this place and had many many swims and who knew that Granny was the best table tennis player! There are things of interest close by such as a chateau and the local wash house or lavoir and a bit further afield are the fortified towns. The Pyrenees are magnificent and a journey up them to almost 5000 feet with a swim in a lake at the end is an easy trip.

We were two families in the house, 4 adults and 4 children-teenagers, and the house dimensions are perfect for such a configuration. It has been wonderfully renovated, respecting its flair. Having a pool in the garden allows spending time in the house when temperatures are too high to escape with the car. The village is a typical french countryside village, stretched along the (small) road, not very lively, but very well preserved. Navarrenx and Oloron are the next cities, each one with its special characteristics (fortification, „gave“ (River), very interesting churches...). The countryside is surprisingly very Green, a mix of hilly and flat landscape, with the Pyrénées in background. South-West people are very relaxed and courteous. And most of all, the distance communication with the house owners was very simple and effective. Thank you them.
