Troglodyte Loft - One-Bedroom Apartment

😢: We booked this cave hotel for two nights but decided to leave after the first night and find alternative accommodation nearby. We understood that staying in a cave property would naturally involve some humidity, and we were prepared for that. However, the room was far beyond what we considered a comfortable or acceptable living condition. The bed, including both the mattress and duvet, felt extremely damp, almost wet, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. A dehumidifier was provided, but even after running it for several hours, there was little noticeable improvement. We also found visible mould/fungal growth on the sofa, which should have been cleaned before guests arrived. When we left, we sent a message to the owner, but we received no response until the following day. After we contacted the owner again, we were told that the dampness was simply a natural feature of the cave environment. While we appreciate that cave accommodations have unique characteristics, guests should still be provided with clean, dry, and comfortable sleeping conditions. Natural humidity is understandable; a damp bed and visible mould are not. Unfortunately, this experience fell well below our expectations, and we could not complete our stay..
