Sehr schönes und liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus. Wir haben uns hier gleich sehr wohlgefühlt. Optimal für Familien als Ausgangspunkt, um die Bretagne zu entdecken.

Nous avons passé une semaine ici en novembre, simplement pour échapper à tout le stress professionnel. Après quelques difficultés pour arriver (il faisait déjà nuit, nous nous étions perdus quelque part et la merveilleuse Annick est venue nous chercher), nous avons finalement trouvé exactement ce que nous cherchions : une détente totale. La maison est vraiment accueillante, confortable et très joliment décorée. Un peu plus loin de nos endroits préférés (Locquirec, Lannion) que ce à quoi nous étions habitués, mais en voiture, tout est possible ; et c'est ainsi que nous avons pu voir plus de l'intérieur des terres en Bretagne du Nord. Et les routes à travers les chemins creux et les menhirs étaient toujours vraiment pittoresques. La maison est vraiment très recommandable, surtout en automne, car la collecte de châtaignes dans le jardin peut devenir une véritable addiction - et la faire griller dans le barbecue extérieur spécialement prévu à cet effet aussi ! Ce printemps, nous nous sommes offert la maison de Yves et Annick à Trébeurden. Nous sommes vraiment impatients de revoir Annick (et espérons ne pas avoir à la chercher à nouveau quelque part) et sommes sûrs, grâce à notre expérience d'automne, de trouver ici une magnifique propriété.

My wife and I have rented through VRBO and Home Away many times - mostly in France but also in Germany, Italy, Greece, Argentina, Chile, and New Zealand. We have always had good experiences. This rental has been one of the best. After a day of sightseeing, it was wonderful to return to this charming cottage in a quiet rural setting. It is well-equipped, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Annick and Yves were helpful, providing an excellent package of material that they sent before our arrival. The directions to the rental were very helpful. We can recommend this rental without hesitation.

We can’t praise this delightful cottage enough. First, there’s the location: because it’s not on the coast, you’re not immersed in crowds and tacky, touristic atmosphere. At the same time, you’re only a short drive (in all directions) from wonderful sights. It’s a half-hour (or less) to some of the most remarkable of the parish closes (Guimiliau, Lampaul-Guimiliau, St Thégonec, La Martyre, Pleyben). An hour’s drive will get you to Locronan, a uniquely and perfectly preserved medieval town; to Landerneau, a historic town with many finely preserved houses, one of the last inhabited bridges in Europe, and a new arts center (currently with a large and important Chagall exhibition), and to Perros-Guirec, where you can explore the Cote de Granit Rose or take a boat to Sept Iles to see puffins and seals. The cottage itself is a dream. It’s tastefully decorated, and fully equipped with modern appliances. Yet it’s a romantic old stone house, surrounded by flowers. There’s a lovely conservatoire for meals, with a view over a large lawn (and a herd of cows just beyond a border of tall trees). The bed was great, and we slept really well because it’s so quiet—aside from the occasional mooing of a cow or the bleating of a baby goat, you don’t hear a thing. You’re really out in the country here, with few neighbors. We cooked all our meals in the cottage, both because the kitchen was so comfortable to use and because the local shopping and markets were so good. Annick and Yves were also a pleasure to work with. They’re friendly and professional. They helped us get oriented over email before we arrived, and they accommodated us in many ways while we were there. We wish it were possible to give this rental a higher score than 5. My wife and I have rented many European apartments and cottages through VRBO, but this may have been the very best.

We really enjoyed our second 2 week stay at Kerbriant this August (2015). It is away from the hustle and bustle of the coastal towns but only 40 mins from some excellent beaches. The beautiful setting and large garden were just right for our children (3 6) to run around. Hosts Annick Yves are very friendly and welcoming. We'd recommend this property whole-heartedly to people who love France and some tranquility within a family holiday. Falling asleep listening to 2 different kinds of owls is to be recommended.
