Typical regional house, fully and tastefully renovated with old bricks and beams, very sunny surrounded by old trees & vinyards, close to huge beaches & golf courses.

We had a great time in Gérald's beautiful house. Nicely reformed, preserving the rustic character of the building, large garden, quiet location, fully equipped with modern appliances. We enjoyed our stay from the first to the last day and consider going again. Gérald is the perfect landlord, giving recommendations and being helpful all around. Wonderful holidays!

"A high standard home built recently with style and tradition. Attention has been paid to details and we appreciated both the landlord's welcome and availability. The peaceful surroundings and generous grounds are a stone's throw away from the cycle strip leading to the beach in a 15mn ride. At the doorstep of the Landes forest and with local amenities at hand. Our four children had a great time, from mushrooms hunting to hide & seek parties, ping pong competitions, water hose showers or finding quiet retreats to read after a full day on the beach and surfing. We appreciated the spacious parental suite, the large lounge and reception table supported by a fully equipped kitchen."

"This was a wonderful house to host our family (we have 1 child 4 years old, 1 toddler 1 year old). Tastefully appointed with a mix of local charm and modern design, very clean and comfortable. The owners put great care in all the details . It faces a corn field, very quiet and relaxing, and has a large garden for the children to play. It''s easy and pleasant to get to the beach by bicycle. The owners are very pleasant to deal with, available and full of good recommendations. Messanges is for those who enjoy healthy outdoor living, there is not much otherwise in terms of village life. A car is needed."
