Une maison à la campagne

😊: The host was very helpful. The house was very well appointed. The only thing missing was an indoor clothes airer The scenery was great. We love to cycle and there were blue maps ( OS equivalent) ready for us to use. 😢: Nothing.

😢: Ok what they should list is what is not available, TV in room. Wi-Fi not strong enough to stream films or much else for that matter. Kettle no facilities for making tea coffee. They list restaurants close all closed we were told the only ones were 25k away when we searched we found them much closer but were not told about them ? . The shower was so dirty you couldn’t see through the glass. Not allowed to eat in your room! But they will provide a G/T for 9 euros. And the most staggering thing of all no heating in the rooms ! The rooms have radiators we turned them full on but they are turned off at source ! When we requested they be turned on we were told no point it would take all day to heat up , well we were out all day it would have been nice to come back to a warm room. We were advised if we were cold put another blanket on the bed. We sat in our rooms in hats coats and boots and were still cold. For 2 nights for 2 rooms over £200 ! The English have a great saying “your having a laugh “ read the T/C very carefully.

😊: Very quiet Views across the countryside Spotting wildlife ...deer , birds of prey , woodpecker etc. 😢: Some flies due to country location.

😊: Wonderful and peaceful location. Stylish property, lovely views & fantastic outside space. 😢: Minimal kitchen facilities- no oven, there was an unlit aga, and really minimal hob. There was a BBQ which we used, but could have done with another option.
