Spacious, clean and well equipped

Gîte très bien agencé avec tout ce qu'il faut pour petits et grand (salle de jeux pour enfants avec billard pour enfants ainsi qu'un baby-foot), sans oublier la salle de jeux des plus grands avec un billard. Des jeux extérieurs pour les enfants qui ont été appréciés. Le gîte est aussi sécurisé pour les enfants (portail qui donne sur la route, barrières dans les escaliers...). Bien équipé en vaisselle et très bien entretenu à l'intérieur, ainsi qu'à l'extérieur.

Notre séjour s'est très bien déroulé. Nous étions 3 couples avec des enfants en bas âge. Le gîte est parfaitement équipé et agréablement décoré. Les enfants ont bien profité des jeux d'intérieur et d'extérieur. Nous avons pu nous promener à pied en partant du gîte et profiter de la côte un peu plus loin. Nous recommandons.

Excellent séjour dans ces gîtes où tout est parfait ! Très bien équipés y compris pour des enfants en bas âge. Propriétaires très sympathiques ! Gîtes très propres ainsi que le jardin très agréable. A recommander !

Nous avons loué l'ensemble du gîte. Tout est très bien pensé il ne manque rien un équipement au top. Le gîte est d'une propreté irréprochable. Propriétaire très sympathique et accueillant.

We have just come back from a lovely week in the larger of the two gites. Well equipped, modern interior, fantastic garden for the kids (5 and 2 1/2) to play in with lots of toys in the garage as well as the swings and wendy house outside. The two gates to the garden can be locked to make it secure so we didn't have to worry about the children wandering off. Location: well situated for visiting the Normandy landing beaches and the museums, easy drive to Mont Saint Michel, zoo a few miles down the road, there's a lots of charming towns to visit nearby, Villedieu les Poeles is 5 mins away and has a great market and lots of local arts and crafts. We went to see the workshop where they make the beautiful copper cooking equipment by hand still (or a bath, if you have a spare £15k). Nice beaches north and south, we liked Hauteville sur mer (big sandy beach), St Martin de Brehal (nice Sunday market) and St Jean le Thomas (rocks/sand, great moules frites from a shack at the beach). There are loads of outdoor activities in the region for groups of adults/if you children are older. The hosts are absolutely lovely and make you feel very welcome. There's a nice welcome basket on arrival. If you don't speak much French, the owner has Google Translate at the ready on his i-Pad. I would definitely recommend the gite, and we are already thinking of going back with the Grandparents as the owners can unlock an internal door to make the two gites into one large accommodation.

We have just returned from a wonderful week in Le Domaine. It was perfect for our requirements to house 2 families (2 adults and 3 children in one gite; 2 adults and 2 children in the smaller gite) as we wanted our own spaces, but enough room to get together easily for the kids to play, or meals. Both inside, with an interconnecting door between dining rooms and a large seating area in the bigger gite, and the outside space with a spacious secure parking area for cars and bikes, and great toys (swings, see-saws, slides, pool table, ping pong and table football) worked perfectly for our families. Both gites are furnished, equipped and maintained to an extremely high standard - we had no problems on issues at all during our stay. Jean Pierre and Jocelyne (the owners) are really friendly and helpful. Our French matched their English, but this did not prove a barrier in sorting out the rental, or ensuring that everything was set up for our arrival - they organised additional matresses/cot beds for our children even though the gite is only formally advertised with 2 double beds. We were later arriving than planned, but they were able to greet us without problem and provide a welcome pack to keep us going (cheese, sweets and cider!) There is plenty to do within a 45 mins drive - great beaches either side of Granville, a large and well respected zoo in the next village, Mt St Michel and the Normandy landing beaches and museums. The gites are located in the small, quiet village of Fleury, with a welcoming English speaking Boulanger just 2 mins walk away! from the front door! Our main concern when booking was the main Granville road running outside, but this didn't prove as busy as we expected and the gites are both fully double glazed minimising any noise when inside. Overall a really great set up that created a perfect base for exploring the local area, as well as a safe and well equipped location for the kids to play.
