We spent two wonderful weeks at Françoise and Jean-Marie's lovely house. The property was well equipped and immaculate and the garden was extensive with many places to sit and eat or just relax. The pool, table tennis and badminton courts were all well used by us. The surrounding area has lots of things to do - we went canoeing, surfing, sightseeing in the surrounding villages and Nante and for walks in the countryside. A great relaxing holiday, we can't recommend it enough.

We really enjoyed our stay: the house is beautiful, comfortable and spacious, even better than in the photos. The garden is really great, beautifully planted, the photos really don't do it justice. The pool was heated, 9m long with a step all the way round, not deep. The pond was lovely: we watched tadpoles, frogs and even a small snake swim. There is equipment for (shaded) table tennis, badminton and boules (also shaded). Lots of shaded areas to sit/lie/eat both indoors and outdoors, all thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen and next-door pantry/utility room has 2 large fridges, a huge freezer and a wine fridge. The bedrooms were all comfortable with automatic shutters. One room with a shower and one room with a bath and shower attachment (not mounted). Two separate toilets, one upstairs one downstairs. Quiet location but well positioned: 5 mins to shops at St Pazanne, 15 mins to swimming lake at St Philbert, 30 mins to Nantes (a visit to ride on the mechanical elephant and retro caroussel at Les Machines de l'Ille is a must) 30 mins to seaside at Pornic, 40 mins to island beaches at Noirmoutier. Kayaking and accrobranche (high ropes tree climbing) nearby. The owners welcomed us on arrival and thoughtfully explained all the details of the house. We would recommend this house for a family holiday.
