Vacation home in Montolieu - Village du livre et des arts en Occitanie.

Tried to feedback to Vrbo privately, but their process forces you to go public. Pleasant hosts and good communication, however: 1. The property doesn’t have air conditioning - problem in 36 degree heat. 2. The pool is in the hosts garden - not private and not manageable with kids who want to be in and out all day. 3. 2 bedrooms - not 3 as advertised. The mezzanine is in the roof, my 11 year old couldn’t stand upright. 4. WiFi cut off because previous guests watching explicits in the property. Gross. 5. Sofa bed falling apart. 6. Accommodation unsuitable for my kids. We left early. Vrbo process means unless you log issues with them within 24 hours of check in they don’t want to know. Terrible system and service. Will not use again.

lovely house ands hosts - 2 lovely villages nearby to visit , weather let us down but recomended otherwise !

We had such a lovely stay in the most beautiful, tranquil place. The hosts made us feel really welcome. The pool area is really lovely and the pool is a good size with a deep end for diving! Bit of a walk in to the village and up a very steep hill - the village is lovely - quiet, pretty - really in the heart of rural France

The house and the pool are wonderful, clean and modern, with beautiful nature around. Dany and Habi are very nice hosts, living in the house next to the vacation home, still you have plenty of privacy. We had some nice and relaxing 2 weeks in Montolieu. The location is a bit outside the village and you need a car for grocery shopping and getting around. There are 3 smaller things I would like to recommend for improvement, have cushions on the outside seats and chairs available, the grill needs an update on the cooking crate, it is old and we did not use it and have constant WIFI available (the house doesn't have one anymore, but Dany gave us a mobile device that worked perfectly). Other than those small improvement recommendations, overall a wonderful location.

Haby and Dany were a warm welcome. The home was exceptionally clean and well equipped. Perfect for our family holiday to see the sights in this part of France. Checking in was super easy and Montolieu was within walking distance. A quaint little town. Highly recommend and would stay here again

From the very first moment we arrived, our hosts, Habi and Dany, made us feel so welcome. The accommodation was of a good standard and suited our family of 4 including two teenagers very well. We very much appreciated our pre-booked dinner on the first evening with the extended French family and enjoyed lively conversations in French and in English! We were able to make use of the outdoor pool-side kitchen and eating area to prepare breakfasts and snacks. Our hosts were always attentive and could not have done any more to ensure that we had an amazing holiday. We would love to return again some day!
