Vaudes chambre

😊: Quite convenient for the motorway. Had everything needed for a one night stay if rather quirky. 😢: Vaudes is not the most interesting town. Double bed had a poor, soft mattress that made sleep difficult and left us with aching backs.

😊: Nothing. 😢: It said restaurant was open, it was not, it said it offered breakfast it did not, the bed was shortest bed I've tried to sleep in, a very very poor experience..

😊: The room was quite spacious and the shower itself, in a cubicle directly facing the bed, worked ok. It was clean and tidy with a kettle, coffee maker and coffee capsules. Towells were provided as was an iron. Sorry, little else impressed us. 😢: We arrived on a Monday. The entire building was closed & locked up, so the bar & restaurant was closed, as was the private driveway. The key arrangements were not sent to us so we had to make a call. There were no shower or basin gels or soaps. Decor was plain & the layout with a seperate wc and shower opposite the bed, divided by a flimsy room width curtain, was rather shabby. The double bed was uncomfortable - very soft mattress and little support meaning you and your partner rolled into each other during the night!.
