Vence - Belle maison construite dans les remparts du village médiéval

We had a fantastic time. We were 3 couples. Three huge bedrooms, 2 look at the mountains and 1 the tiny streetKitchen is well kept, and there is a washerWe used the terrace on the roof every night for drinks and there is a mini fridge there that worksThe property manager was fantastic and helped when we needed himThe bathrooms are a bit weird as 2 of them have bathtubs but u get used to itThe location is to die for. It’s in the old town and walking distance to 10 restaurants Plenty of bakeries, pharmacies and 1 supermarket We chose not to hire a car and instead bought a bus pass. The 9 bus is a 5 min walk and then takes you to the train station 20 mins away and from there you can go to Monaco or Cannes cheaply

Large comfortable house in the old town, wonderful views. Great to have use of garage, but be careful of internal stairs up to house. Edna was very welcoming at check-in. The only shower needs work.

Discovering this gem in Vence was such a win! This villa is in the absolute heart of the old village…winding cobblestone streets with flowers and decorative doors. The shops are a mere feet away but the location allows for peace and quiet. The windows were open to the fresh French Riviera air and the only sounds were the birds and an occasional scooter. Getting to the garage was a little tricky but super convenient once you’ve done it a couple of times. All of the bedrooms has its own bathroom and they are HUGE! This villa can accommodate so many comfortably. The rooftop terrace was a dream. Our host Maggie responded within minutes if I needed anything so I felt so cared for. This home does have multiple levels so prepare yourself for stairs! The house has lots of steps but Vence itself is pretty flat for an old town. Very few staircases just romantic alleyways. Their new stovetop is also a bit tricky but once I figured it out it was wonderful. I loved every minute in Vence and if you’ve dreamed of a quiet medieval village to feel like you’ve stepped back in time this is your chance!

How wonderful to be in a house built into the ramparts of this medieval walled city with winding cobblestone streets, plazas, parks, and restaurants, Musee de Vence, Chapelle de Matisse, and a cathedral with a Chagall mosaic. Accommodations included large en-suite bedrooms with excellent views of the hills. Be sure to enjoy the roof terrace! We also made day trips to St Paul de Vence and Antibes. Don’t miss dinner at Auberge in Vence, just a couple of minutes walk from the house.

Great homebase away from the big city within reach of several wonderful villages either by car, bus and/or train. Easy access to Nice Airport. Most of all wonderful and delightful property manager “Milan” who is friendly and very helpful. Thanks.

Grandiose Zeit in Vence, toller Ort, Lage perfekt, wunderschöner Ausblick von der Dachterrasse aus, Ausstattung ist sehr gut mit großen Zimmern, Bädern je Zimmer. Empfehlenswert!

Maison très bien située pour visiter la Côte d'azur et l'arrière pays niçois. Egalement bien située dans la cité à quelques pas des commerces, du marché et des restaurants. Grandes pièces et grandes chambres agréablement décorées. Quelques éléments à ajuster dont les volets ou occultations. Peut être une climatisation pour les chambres d'en haut et une télévision pourraient être utiles à ceux qui le souhaitent. Très bonne communication avec la propriétaire.
