VERY CENTRAL Ajaccio 36 rue Fesch, cosy flat in city center pedestrian street, up to 4 people

😊: It is a spacious beautiful apartment with a well equipped kitchen, in a central lively street with many independent shops (not the Zara & co you have everywhere). The hosts provide delightful toiletry items, and unlike in many other apartments, there were some condiments like oil, vinegar and pepper in the kitchen.. 😢: The apartment is on the 4th floor with very bad stairs to get there (every single step uneven, and big), essentially it is not accessible unless you're reasonably fit. You have to install the exhaust pipes of the 2 mobile aircos out of windows yourself -- if you don't they won't have any cooling effect. Asked the day before leaving what to do with the rubbish bag, this never got an answer. In fact all my messages to the 2 provided Whatsapp concierge numbers were never answered..

😊: The location. 😢: We found in the apartment a cocroach and the owner of the flat did not communicate with us..

😊: If you want to experience apartment living on a pedestrian street this is perfect. Great view and super handy to market, port/eateries, and tourist spots. The Fesch library and art museum and chapel are 2 minutes walk from the front door. The apartment was super-clean and generously equipped.. 😢: Nothing can be done about this but there are four flights of narrow stairs to tackle to and from the apartment. No lift available. We were fine with this because we are fit and only have small backpacks..
