Vieux Lille - Large modern and functional studio

😊: Self-check-in worked great. Hosts shared the code ahead of time and let me check-in early! Room was decently clean and comfortable. Location was also great.. 😢: There was no dishwashing soap or a sponge in the kitchen. It was also a shame that only 2 coffee pods were provided for a 3-night stay. The bathroom also had a strange sewage smell - I'm assuming the washing machine or toilet plumbing needs a clean..

😊: Well positioned for the old town. Well equipped and airy.. 😢: Perhaps two comfy chairs would have added another level of comfort..

😊: The location and the photos. 😢: I question if the placed was cleaned before our arrival. I did text the contact. On Bookinh. The bed was filth and bent in the middle because no proper foundation. We clean the kitchen. Horrible we did not finish out stay. The wifi connection did not work The floor rotten out of shower. I travel and use Booking. You get these once in a while! Hopefully they will find a solution..

😊: Location in Old Town a huge advantage. 😢: Unfortunately , although described as a “studio” Booking.com described the flat as having two bedrooms . Very misleading as our attraction to the property was based on this and the value for money this represented. I believe now corrected. Shower malfunction reasonably quickly repaired by the local contacts..
