Vieux Lille - Superbe appartement typique ! 2pers

😊: Location was great, in a lively and atmospheric area of Old Lille. Most tourist spots and many great restaurants are within walking distance. The apartment itself is a lovely space and well equipped.. 😢: We stayed during a week where the temperature regularly exceeded 30 degrees. Although this was exceptionally warm for the time of year (May) the loft apartment was too hot to be comfortable and it needed air con facilities (even a portable unit would have been helpful). I would recommend being careful about booking this property in summer unless the owners provide assurance on air con..

😊: Excellent location with everything you need for a business or leisure short stay.. 😢: As stated the stairwell is old and creaky, not an issue..

😊: Lovely location at the heart of old Lille. 😢: Described incorrectly as having 2 bathrooms. Overhead sprinkler on shower was broken. As far as we could figure out there were no free-to-view tv channels - if there were a guide would have been helpful. Access from the landing was via 2 flights of narrow spiral staircase. For anyone with mobility issues this would present difficulties and I don’t recall this being mentioned in the property description. The Yale lock on the apartment door had been fitted upside down and because it had been left unlocked it too us quite a while to figure out that when we thought we’d unlocked the door when we turned the key clockwise we had in fact locked it..

😢: There were people sitting and smoking right next the lockbox, so it was uncomfortable to check if we got the lockbox place right..

😊: Room was nice and cozy. 😢: The area is full of bars and it was super noisy at night. Secondly, there was a lot of stair to reach the room and made it difficult to currying our baggage there. Stairs was also super narrow.
