La maison est ancienne mais parfaitement équipée. Sa situation géographique est idéale. Dommage qu'il n'y est pas de robinet exterieur, pour le rinçage bref des chiens ou des équipements de plage et des pieds. Le seul point noir serait la terrasse qui est un peu dangereuse.

The house is clean and well-presented, surrounded by pine trees, with woodpeckers, pigeons, squirrels etc to be seen - it's very peaceful overall. It is generally well-furnished. The only improvement to be suggested is perhaps deeper mattresses in the large beds. There is no air-conditioning, but in fairness, the only time we genuinely felt hot were days where the temperature reached 37C outside, which was due to an unexpected heatwave. All the kitchen appliances and utensils work well and it is well equipped; the shower and bathroom are clean and functional also. On the one day we had rain [out of two weeks!] it was useful to have TV and Wi-Fi for both the kids and ourselves. Both worked fine. The house is easy to find and is not immediately in the town centre, but this is only a 25-30 minutes walk at a leisurely pace. It is very close to the beach [5 minutes walking]. It is centrally located from Nantes, La Rochelle, Les Sables D'Olonne and Puy Du Fou. The owner of the house is very helpful and we felt very well looked-after; we had some small teething issues with regard to local services and the help we received was excellent. The level of communication was second to none. I have no complaints about this property and would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to other people.
