Villa 4 étoiles proche mer - piscine et sauna

Our stay was short because we decided to immediately move to another location, primarily in view of staining/discoloration of the bedding (even though I lost the large majority of what I had paid for the over one week stay). See the included photo of pillow, which is one of many we took. Basically, my wife was grossed out, and once that happened, it was game over for us. I’m giving an extra star because the owner was courteous in our discussions, though he disagreed with our assessment, and because he said he would look into issues I raised for future guests. Hopefully, this will not be an issue for anyone else. I ended getting another place, but because it was last minute, I had to get hotel rooms for the first night of my stay until the new property was ready. The new property had none of the issues I reported regarding bedding, and we ultimately had a lovely stay. My lesson learned is that I will never again rent a property with a “no refunds” policy.

Fabulous spacious villa and pool really enjoyed our time there everything we needed was available from the kitchen to the bedrooms the outside area was especially good with an electric sun shade over the dining area which was handy as it was in the thirties. the arena the villa is located is very quiet but not to far away from the village center overall it is the perfect location for touring around

My family and I have enjoyed a really lovely week in this great house. The property is very well equipped very comfortable and has everything you could need. There’s plenty of space for everyone and the kids appreciate the WiFi. It was very easy to find and thanks to Kevin the caretaker we soon felt at home. One of the best things for me was that you don’t really need a car when you’re there. The local shops and bar are only a few minutes walk away and the big supermarket is just a short cycle away. The area is really great for cycling and I recommend going up to La Rochelle by bike and enjoying a long lunch. There are also plenty of restaurants to be found in the other direction towards Chatillion plage. I am sure that we will be back as there’s so much that we still have to see in the area. I recommend a visit to Rochfort to the naval museum and a trip to Ile de Re to the world heritage site is a good day out.
