Villa 400 m² with garden of 6000 m² and pool

Not suitable for young children, (eg open staircase), rotting food left in kitchen on arrival and no power in some rooms for four days. Some recompense should be considered

Nous avons été très gentiment accueilli par Mme Boulin qui est charmante mais peu au fait des problèmes posés par le manque d'entretien de sa maison. Nous avons été contraints de nettoyer frigo, cuisinière et sanitaires, réparer une chasse de WC, condamner certaines prises de courant afin d'éviter de faire sauter les plombs. Lors de notre départ, nous avons montré à Mme Boulin le problème de la chasse du WC et sa réparation de fortune et abordé le problème électrique car nous pensons qu'il est tel qu'il y a risque d'incendie. Ces remarques mettent en cause, à nos yeux, la responsabilité d'Abritel au sujet du suivi du bien.

Très grande maison meublée avec une empreinte familiale de la propriétaire, ce qui lui donne une âme. Très beau jardin. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour et la gentillesse de l'accueil de la propriétaire.

Jacqueline's house is in a lovely spot with beautiful views. We had wonderful weather and made good use of the swimming pool which is huge. The house is a short drive from Pau which has some nice restaurants but it's not walking distance of shops or bars. Having said that, you can stock up on food and enjoy the garden and the views. I found Jacqueline to be a kind and attentive host.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jacqueline's villa. We were a large group with three couples and four children. The big pool in particular got a lot of use, along with the many options Jacqueline had available, including petanque, badminton, the trampoline, etc. The property has obviously been enjoyed by kids for many years and ours took full advantage of that. The house is huge, which was good for our party as we used up all of the available bedrooms. It is an old place, although with some more modern features. You could say the house has "character" with a few odd quirks but none which caused us any issues. We ate outside much of the time but the big table in dining room would also happily accommodate 10 (or more). All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found it a great place to return to after a sunny day out during a hot summer.
