Villa Aix les Bains, overlooking Lac du Bourget (Rhône Alpes, Savoie)

Another lovely stay. The check-in was very efficient. Wi-fi access very good. The house is a short drive into town and is very well equipped.

Nice pool. Lovely views of the lake. Hostess nearby if any problems which there weren’t.

The house is spacious and extremely well equipped, there is everything you could possibly need for families with young kids. The owner lives next door and is very responsive. The view from the house is superb, the heated swimming pool is great. Overall fantastic for families.

In all honesty I don't think the photo's on the page really capture how lovely this house and it's location is. It's gorgeous. There were twelve of us and we all fitted in perfectly without stumbling over each other. The bedrooms were great, as was the living space. The pool, decked area and views were really lovely and several evenings we enjoyed a BBQ on the deck. Aix-Les-Bains itself is delightful, and the Grande Porte is about 1 mile away to walk. Be mindful that the last road up to the house is steep, so not for the faint hearted. The house is in a residential area but still feels secluded. Marie was lovely too, very helpful even with our broken (very) French. I would highly recommend this house.

We arrived for our daughters wedding with a large party of friends and family . All the bedrooms were a good size , there was a homely feel in the house so you felt you could relax . Home from home . The pool was amazing , seating areas were plenty , in sun , shade , which ever you preferred . Kitchen was very well equipped , I say that because our friend Charlotte produced a three tier wedding cake in the kitchen !! We loved it and would definitely visit there again . Archie our 20 month old Grandson had a multitude of toys and garden house he could play in , as the owner has a wonderful family with 10 grandchildren .. I have a bit of catching up to do !! Thank you for a lovely stay Aix les Bains itself is also a beautiful place to visit . Wonderful views a multitude of restaurants and sporting activities as well as a good high street if you fancy a bit of retail therapy . Something for everyone .

Je recommande vivement cette villa; nous étions 8 adultes et plusieurs petits enfants; le confort, la très grande terrasse bien équipée, la piscine, les jeux pour enfants...nous ont permis de passer une excellente semaine. La vue sur le lac rajoute encore à la très bonne impression.
