Villa avec piscine chauffée privée (mi-mai à mi-octobre) dans le village médiéval

It was absolutely perfect. We loved all the rooms, beautiful nature and the pool was amazing. The view and driving around the pitoresque villages was like a dream. And those waterfalls….. So inspiring and relaxing, we all went home very happy and a little sad to leave such a nice place.

Everything was as described,. this house is in a great location and is just a short walk from the village, its just what we needed, very clean, tidy and spacious and had everything there that we needed.Although the house is fully fitted with a new heating system, we also made the most of the open fire and spent a couple of cosy evening in.The communication with the owners was more than helpful and very informative and friendly.We will definitely return to this property maybe in the summer and look forward to trying out their new aircon and the use of the swimming pool.just perfect, thank you!

The house, garden and pool were all very lovely. We were two families, eight people in total, and there was plenty of space for all of us. Each of the bedrooms had its own bathroom which was very nice especially when travelling with teens. Due to the warm weather, we enjoyed the outside very much, especially the pool was a big hit for both teenagers and adults. The pool was approx. 1,9 meter in the deep end and around 28-29 degrees Celsius which was perfect for us. There are many possibilities to explore Provence from Sillans-la-Cascade, several lovely villages. We especially enjoyed our trips to Aups, Tourtour and Lorgues. We went to Lac Sainte-Croix several times, where we among other things rented boats. Communicating with Steven and Maria was extremely easy, we appreciated the advice they gave us both before and after we arrived.

The hosts are very quick to respond and very helpful. We had to leave after 2 days as had some illness but would book again

We’ve just returned from a week here. From the moment we arrived and smelt the beautiful lavender in the front garden, we started to relax and unwind. The maintenance staff here are very good and the house was spotlessly clean and clearly well looked after. Anything you could hope for equipment wise is here too, which made it so easy to just enjoy our well yearned for break. Each bedroom has an amazing en-suite and the rooms are all a good size and comfortable. The pool was perfect for us and warm enough to enjoy on a very regular basis! The living and dining area wsee really comfortable with plenty of space to both eat and unwind at the end of the day. The tv has some English channels and we also enjoyed a DVD player. In the background you could hear the church bells which again added to the calming and happy ambience. Communication with the owner Stephen was great throughout. I would highly recommend this property. We were a family of mum and two children (9+19) plus Uncle. It worked for us, but would also work for larger families or maybe groups of friends. There are lots of beautiful locations and restaurants in driving distance and the local waterfall is worth the walk. Thanks to the Cox family for sharing this house with us. Sarah and family.

Owners were very helpful. The property was very well equipped. The heated pool was amazing. A very quiet and relaxing holiday.

We spent a lovely week here in April and were blessed with better than average weather for the time of year. The house is very well equipped with good quality appliances and furnishings, a real home from home. The bed we slept in was the most comfortable I have ever used in over 12 years of holidays in France. Each of the four bedrooms has an en suite toilet and bathroom too. We used the wifi and it was very good when it worked. The router had minor conection problems but this was with the outside network which was apparently playing up for a few days, after this initial hiccup it worked fine. The raised patio surrounds half of the house so you can chase the sun arround for the best part of the day and there is a lovely eating area outside under the canopy. The living room is very airy and bright with two sets of doors leading straight out onto the patio. This was our first holiday in the Provence region (we normally go to the Languedoc & Pyrenees) and we found the surrounding countryside very peaceful and beautiful and local people were friendly. Everywhere is a drive away though, with a limited amount to see and do in the immediate area. This was not a problem though as the drives are full of lovely things to take in as well. We had our dog with us and spent the majority of our time in various parts of the Verdon Gorges. It is a must see place with plenty there to see and do and is breathtakingly beautiful. Try the pedalos, great fun and pooches were made welcome here. We found the coast not very dog friendly so didn't come back after our initial visit. So why 4* and not 5? I try not to give reviews in the rose tinted afterglow of a holiday to keep things in perspective. The house is beautiful, comfortable and in a lovely location, however there were a few very minor maintenance issues which prevents 5*. Please note though that I am being very picky. The question is, would I return? Absolutely, in a heartbeat!
