Villa avec piscine et vue sur la mer dans un écrin de nature proche de la plage

We had a great time in this beautifully situated location in Balagne :-) We have enjoyed the silence from various places that this property has to offer, with a beautiful view over a valley and a bay. The house is beautifully decorated, clean and fully equipped. Stephane is a super friendly and concerned host! We hope to stay her again!

Excellent séjour dans cette maison joliment décorée et très bien équipée, qui correspond parfaitement à la description. Nous y avons séjourné 2 semaines er nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. La vue magnifique sur la mer de la terrasse parentale nous manquera. Notre hôte a été prévenant et accueillant. La maison est isolée, c’est le prix à payer pour une exceptionnelle tranquillité, donc prévoyez une voiture pour les déplacements.

We enjoyed our stay here. The villa was spacious and clean. We particularly enjoyed the upstairs terrace which is off the main bedroom. A great place to hide from the Corsican heat and enjoy the views. The villa is in a remote area but only a 15 minute walk to the village where there is a useful store and lovely restaurant/bar. Lovely beaches are within a 15/20 minute drive. My only disappointment (given we arrived late) was there wasn't a welcome package on arrival so had to wait until the following morning before we could get any supplies. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Eine sehr schön Unterkunft mit super netten Gastgebern. Die Gastgeber stehen mit Rat für die Ausflüge zur Verfügung und bei Fragen und Problemen wird sofort reagiert. Die Lage ist ein Traum, genau wie der Ausblick jeden Morgen beim Kaffee. Die Terasse und den großen Grill haben wir fast täglich für gemütliche Abende genutzt. Ich würde definitiv wieder kommen.

We had an amazing week in Monticello. We have 3 boys aged 10,12,15 who rated this the best villa they had stayed in (having been to France, Spain and Crete over the last years). It is a beautiful location with stunning views over the sea, and lots of space outside to enjoy this from. The house is well equipped, luxurious and clean. The hosts are very welcoming, meeting us en route to show us the last bit of the drive. There is one 5 metre section that is rough and steep, but perfectly OK for our basic VW Touran hire car. The rest of the drive was no different to what you get used to driving round Corsica. There is a massive Leclerc supermarket which is on easy route to/from the main beaches, all only 15-20 mins away. Going further, we had a great days to Scandola and Saleccia. My highlight was going to Ostraconi beach for the sunset. There is now a big carpark there, but the beach is virtually empty in the evening. There is a 1km walk along a path to get to the beach - just remember the way since it will be dark on the way back (we ended up finding ourselves in the local campsite!) To summarise - this is a great villa in a great location and we would love to come back!
