Villa avec piscine et vues splendides au calme et proche plages

In a beautiful and quiet valley. Villa well-equipped and excellent communication with owner.

Maison encore plus grande, et plus belle qu’en photo, très bonne surprise en arrivant, à 20 min de la plage, nous avons passé un très bon séjour, Mr Mahieu a sû anticiper notre arrivée et le bon déroulement de notre séjour, à refaire

La villa est conforme au descriptif, très confortable, très bien équipée. La piscine n'est pas profonde, ce qui surprend au premier abord mais n'est finalement pas gênant. Le propriétaire n'est pas sur place mais tout est très bien organisé, expliqué. Et il répond au téléphone et aux mails. La région est magnifique. Randonnées possibles au départ de la maison avec des dénivelés D+1000 m. La mer est à 20 minutes en voiture. Plages de sable ou criques. L'Espagne est accessible à pied pour les bons randonneurs ou en voiture pour quelques achats à la Jonquera par exemple. La région est très ensoleillée. Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances. Merci !

First, the adverse comments: We are three elderly couples, mostly with mobility problems; I'd suggest that prospective clients shoiuld be warned about the steep internal stairs and the rough stretches of road on the route from Sarlat. The couple in the bedroom with shower upstairs, lacking a WC, had to negotiate the stairs to visit the loo during the night. On the plus side, the house is comfortable and welcoming. The AC works well and kept us cool on the hottest days. We enjoyed the pool immensely, equally the shady terrace. The house is also very well equipped. It sits in a peaceful wooded setting which affords views of hills and wonderful sunsets. When we had a problem that required professional intervention, the owner acted at once and ensured that solutions were found. Generally speaking, we enjoyed a peaceful holiday in a perfect rural setting. Regarding HomeAway, we were less than satisfied. Weeks after I had paid the owner in full, I received several emails requesting final payment, the last suggesting the holiday could be cancelled. Prior to departure I was sent another email, with an attachment which claimed to provide full directions and info. on local restaurants etc. There was no such information. I phoned, and was told that this particular website "did not work". Perhaps your IT people need to take a hard look the operation of your website. Patricia Sutherland

Piscine impeccable ; belle intimité; réponse immédiate de propriétaire en cas de nécessité. Nous recommandons cette villa pour une famille (nous étions 5 adultes et 2 enfants).et étions très confortables.

Villa agréable de la vallée heureuse. Environnement très calme. Aucun problème de stationnement à proximité même de la villa. La villa est bien équipée (électroménager, literie, ...), propre et bien entretenue. La climatisation dans les chambres est très appréciable lors des très fortes chaleurs. La terrasse couverte et à l'ombre permet de prendre tous les repas dehors, juste à côté de la piscine. Départs de randonnées très proches pour aller jusqu'à la frontière espagnole. villa très agréable dans un quartier charmant et calme entre mer et montagne. Facile d'accès. Nous avons eu 15 jours de beau temps pour profiter, après les balades de la journée ,de la piscine. le propriétaire nous a contacté par téléphone le lendemain de notre arrivée pour savoir si tout était ok puis lors de notre retour se souciant si nous avions passé un bon séjour. lydie Boissinot
