Check-in was straightforward, the facilities were excellent with a well provisioned kitchen and bar-b-cue areas. Wi Fi access strong, transport straight forward from Carcassone. Owners friendly and communicative with excellent information provided in a timely manner. Swimming pool a great large size and perfect with padded sloped sides and ends. Website pictures do not do it justice. Pleasant village, walkable village bar/restaurant. Secluded location and beautiful countryside. Amazing.

Upon arrival there were some issues that were taken care of by the property manager, Dawn who was very attentive to our concerns. The location was exceptional for visiting all points of interest in the area. The view of the mountains was commanding. Cailau is lovely.

We had a very enjoyable week in the house. It is spacious, comfortable, and very well located right at the heart of the village of Cailhau. All the bedrooms are en-suite, and three of them have the most amazing views towards the Corbieres and Pyrenees mountains. There is a very well maintained pool, and an attractive garden and outdoor seating area. Dawn, who looks after the house, gave us a warm welcome and was always on hand in case of any problems. I thoroughly recommend this property to anybody planning a family or group stay in the Languedoc.

We had a lovely stay at the end of June 2023. The weather was scorching hot so the pool came in very handy. The house is very well equipped and the views are to die for. The house was very roomy with all bedrooms en suite. The boulangerie in Belveze du Razes is very good, 5 mins drive from the house. We had a fantastic wine pairing at Domaine Gayda with lovely food. About 45 mins walk from the house. Just follow the Google Maps walking route.

Sehr empfehlenswertes Haus, das groß, komfortabel, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sauber ist. Es liegt absolut ruhig und doch nicht verlassen, hat einen großen Garten, einen sehr schönen geräumigen Pool und einen Ausblick auf die Pyrenäen, den man nie wieder vergessen wird. Die Umgebung ist touristisch noch wenig erschlossen, aber es gibt alles, was man braucht (guter Bäcker und sehr guter Schlachter in Belvèze, sehr großer und sauberer Leclerc in Limoux sowie Gaststätten und Weingüter auch mit Direktverkauf). Ein wunderbarer Ort, um sich in schöner Natur zu erholen und zu entspannen. Mit dem Auto sind interessante Orte , Burgen und Klöster gut erreichbar. Eine ortsansässige englische Dame kümmert sich freundlich, hilfsbereit und kompetent um alles.

The villa is exactly as shown in the photographs and the location is fantastic! Communication with Shon was excellent and i just wish i had asked more questions about what was provided such as cool bags etc so we reduced our weight limit flying out. Sadly there were a lot of mosquitoes and no anti plugs were set up in the house but we eventually found them and got sorted. Some of the details could be updated such as the local shop closing at 7.30pm which caught us out and a better description to where the pizza van. We sadly also never heard the bread van! I would certainly recommend to others

Un excellent séjour mais ne pas oublier les anti moustiques ! Piscine superbe. Chambres spacieuses et confortables. Il ne manquait rien et une bouteille de Limoux bien fraîche nous attendait et a été appréciée. Des moustiquaires aux fenêtres seraient pratiques quand il fait très chaud .

Très belle maison avec tous les équipements nécessaires! Shôn et Amanda ont été très réactifs ainsi que Dawn sur place. La maison est très pratique, bien localisée au cœur du petit village de Cailhau avec une vue magnifique, et un calme absolu. Excellent séjour !
