1834/5000 After a tough ride to the house, because the road was very bad and steep, but passable, we came to a large gate. We were there earlier than the people who would be waiting for us. Nadine and Laurent. We called them and within 10 minutes they were on the spot. After their welcome we were shown around by Laurent and Nadine two real Corsicans. But Laurent especially spoke. He explained everything to us in good English where we could find everything we could use and what we could do in the area. It felt so good and gave us a nice feeling that we were welcome. This was even more emphasized when we arrived in the kitchen and Nadine had made a delicious Quiche for us and also had a roast chicken with delicious potatoes in the oven. There was a bottle of wine on the table for us, sliced ​​fruit in the fridge and enough water for the first day. What a welcome, what a sweet and hospitable people. We talked about that night with a wine from Laurent and Nadine. It is a wonderful big house. It is packed with stuff but that also made it homey again. The view is fabulous. Beautiful view and we have even seen dolphins playing from our garden and jumping out of the water. Our luck could not be up. We had a wonderful week. When we said goodbye to Laurent and Nadine I still had the driveway, but Laurent has promised that he will make a runway of the driveway together with his son, where the house is. I have agreed with him that when the runway is ready we will probably land there again :). Nadine and Laurent thank you very much for your hospitality, you have a place in our hearts.
