Villa Castelas, Bonnieux - Villa for 4 with stunning views and endless pool

The owner of the property double booked us - and the host only found out and contacted us on the morning of check-in (despite all communications before this point saying it was fine). We had booked it 6 months previously - paid up front and via VRBO. Whilst the host “Provence days” tried to find us alternative accommodation on the day, they weren’t suitable (25 minutes away and we had a specific reason for selecting this property and location). Ultimately, having to cram a whole family into a single hotel room in the village was not a relaxing experience and pretty much ruined the holiday I’ve yet to hear from the owner with an apology or an offer of compensation. As such I can’t imagine they care - and as such I would caution anyone from booking with them as it’s just not worth the risk of a poorly organised, callous property owner trashing your holiday.
